Our Terms & Conditions

We are delighted you're considering booking a holiday at Casa sul Monte and we look forward to welcoming you. Below you will find some suggestions on how to best check availability and prices before sending us your initial enquiry. We have also included a list of other important information, facts and figures you need to be aware of before making a booking. Should anything be unclear or you require further clarification or information please email and ask us first.  

Availability & Rental Prices
  • We make every effort to ensure our Apartment Availability Calendars are updated regularly to correctly show any unavailable periods, bookings already registered and all remaining dates available. However such availability is not guaranteed until your enquiry has been acknowledged, availability confirmed and your Booking Deposit paid. 

 

  • On receipt of your booking request and our formal acceptance of this, your requested dates will be temporarily shown as 'Unavailable' for 1 WEEK pending receipt of the Booking Deposit. Once this arrives your chosen dates will be shown as 'Booked' in the related apartment Calendar. Non receipt of the Booking Deposit for whatever reason will result in the dates on the Calendar reverting to their previous 'Available' status.

 

  • The rental seasons and apartment charges shown in our Rental Prices Schedules are typically set annually and do not change frequently. However these seasons and related prices are not guaranteed until your enquiry has been acknowledged, availability confirmed and your Booking Deposit paid.

 

  • We reserve the right to change the seasonal booking periods and/or related rental prices entirely at our discretion for promotional, operational, administrative and/or any other reason at any time. Any such changes will come into effect the day they are published and applied to all bookings confirmed after that date. However any such changes cannot be applied retrospectively to any previously received and confirmed bookings.

 

  • Rental prices for the apartments vary significantly dependant on the preferred dates and related number of guests. The Rental Prices Schedules give a detailed indication of what the costs may be for a given number of guests over a certain period at various times of the year. However the actual final cost of the holiday rental can only be confirmed once we've received your enquiry with all related information such as dates, numbers of guests, etc. 

 

  • Although daily rental rates for both apartments are shown on the Prices Schedules these are purely indicative and only applicable when these days are additional to the minimum rental periods shown against each booking season.

 

  • Booking seasons run from Saturday night through to Friday night and guests are encouraged to book accordingly. Over the Easter, Christmas and New Year seasons both apartments can only be booked for one whole week or both weeks of the season, strictly on a Saturday night to Friday night inclusive basis. 

 

Other Important Information

Non Refundable Deposit

 

  • Bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a 20% Booking Deposit due within 1 WEEK of receipt of quote.

 

Balance of Payment

 

  • The Balance of Rental payment must be received 1 MONTH before the holiday commences.

 

Children and Infants

 

  • Children are warmly welcomed but must be included when calculating the number of guests to be accommodated.

  • Only ONE INFANT UNDER 3 can be included for FREE within each apartment booking.

  • One cot and high chair will be provided in the apartment when an infant is included in the guest party.

 

Payment Methods

 

  • All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling via Bank Transfer into a UK Bank Account (details will be provided).

  • Alterrnative currency payments can be accepted subject to pre-agreed exchange rates being applied for each individual payment on the day of transaction and all currency exchange charges being added to the payment due.

  • Credit and Debit Card payments can only be accpeted if processed through PayPal (account details will be provided) but each of these payments will incur a 4% Surcharge to cover standard PayPal transaction processing costs.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

 

  • The 20% Booking Deposit is non refundable irrespective of when guests may may choose to cancel their booking.

  • If the Balance of Rental payment is not received at least 2 WEEKS before the holiday commences the booking will be automatically cancelled and the Booking Deposit will not be refunded.

  • If guests cancel a booking up to 1 MONTH before the holiday commences the Balance of Rental payment is no longer payable but the Booking Deposit will not be rufunded. 

  • Should we be forced to cancel a booking at any time prior to the commencement of a holiday we will refund 100% of all monies already received including the Booking Deposit and Balance of Rental payment.

 

Security Deposit

 

  • All guests are asked to provide a Security Deposit of £200 per apartment (£400 if booking both apartments) and this is payable at least 1 WEEK prior to arrival when paying by PayPal or Bank Transfer, or in cash on arrival. Should all be OK with the apartment when guests leave the deposit will be either repaid in cash on departure or refunded via PayPal or Bank Transfer (as per received funds) within 1 WEEK of the guests vacating the apartment. 

 

Linen, Laundry and Cleaning Fee

 

  • Full sets of bed linen and towels are supplied per guest, including extra pool towels in the Summer Season. A weekly change of sheets and towels is provided for guests staying 10 days or more.

  • The apartments do not have washing machines but a dedicated laudry room with automatic washing machine is available for the use of guests. Each apartment has an iron and ironing board.

  • Each apartment has a supply of suitable cleaning materials and equipment for guests to use during their stay. A weekly cleaning service is available at an additional cost if requested.

  • End of Rental cleaning is included in the quoted rental costs to all bookings on an apartment by apartment basis. 

 

Check-in and Check-out

   

  • All booking are calculated on the number of nights the apartments are occupied by guests.

  • Prefered day for Check-in and Check-out is Saturday but will reflect the dates agreed in the booking process.

  • Departing guests must vacate their apartmnent by 10 am - other than by prior agreement.

  • Arriving guests will not be given access to their apartment until 4 pm - other than by prior agreement.

 

Heating, Lighting and Utilities

 

  • These are included within the rental prices but additional mobile heaters and air-conditioning units can be provided for the colder or hotter periods if requested and would be chargeable on a day-rate basis.

 

Smoking

 

  • Smoking is strictly not allowed in our apartments.

 

Pets

 

  • Small pets can only be accepted within the apartments by prior agreement.
