Having asked our guests to describe the ideal Umbria holiday we're now delighted to offer you the opportunity to plan your own personally tailored "Heart of Umbria" all-inclusive holiday.

Based on the time and budgets available we will work closely with you to plan, organise and book a uniquely curated Umbria 'holiday of a lifetime' for you, your family ... and your friends.

Each personally tailored programme would include a schedule of activities throughout your stay chosen from a wide range of varied activities, cultural events, architectural and historic visits while allowing plenty of 'down time' in between for you all to relax and enjoy the holiday.

It goes without saying the programme will be interspersed with opportunities to savour the traditional 'cucina povera' of Umbria in a selection of pizzerie, trattorie and restaurants as well as enjoy many of the acclaimed Umbrian wines at a selection of our leading regional wineries.

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORT - (Max. 6 Adults / Group)

Accommodation provided for these holidays is 3 double bedrooms and 2 shower rooms in 2 adjoining apartments. Guests booking these holiday packages are expected to do so as One Group sharing our two apartments with their partners, family and/or friends to ensure all the appropriate levels of privacy and comfort can be enjoyed by all.

Transport to and from airports and to support all the planned activities will typically be provided by a luxury minibus with six comfortable passenger seats (incl. seatbelts), AC, large sliding doors, ample luggage area, etc. plus seats for the driver and tour leader. 

Given the accommodation constraints and inclusion of tastings and meals often including alcoholic beverages. tours cannot accomodate children and are limited to Adults Only over 18.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. You give us your preferred dates and indicative budget
  2. If these are possible we begin our research
  3. We send a selection of alternative ideas and options 
  4. You indicate and prioritise your preferences 
  5. From these we prepare 2-3 alternative programmes
  6. Each option would include indicative costs per person
  7. You choose preferred option (with adjustments if required) 
  8. We confirm final all-inclusive cost for the holiday package
  9. If accepted booking to be confirmed with 30% deposit 
  10. Balance payment of 70% due 30 days before start of holiday
WHATS INCLUDED:
  1. Pick-up and drop-off at agreed airport
  2. Bed & Breakfast accommodation at Casa sul Monte
  3. Main meals and beverages as included in programme 
  4. Luxury minibus transport to and from all scheduled activities
  5. Admission tickets to scheduled venues, events and activities
  6. Cost of arts, crafts and/or cooking lessons where included 
  7. Cost of wine/olive oil tastings where programmed
  8. Fuel and other travel costs related to scheduled activities 
WHATS NOT INCLUDED:
  1. Flights and all other related travel costs to and from airport
  2. Travel/Holiday/Medical insurance for duration of holiday 
  3. Any meals, snacks and beverages not included in programme 
  4. Products, gifts, samples, etc. purchased personally by guests
  5. Any travel costs if requested as extra to scheduled programme
  6. Discretionary gratuities where desired
Indicative 8-Day Programme

  • Arrive in Italy - Pick-up in luxury minibus from Perugia airport

  • Visit Assisi incl. St. Francis Basilica, etc. Snack lunch at local Bar

  • Group dinner at Casa sul Monte with intro to week ahead

  • Visit Civita di Bagnoreggio then lunch at Lago Bolsena

  • Visit Orvieto including Cathedral, underground caves, etc.  

  • Savour rustic Umbrian meal in the forests of Monte Peglia

  • Tour local winery - including wine tasting and lunch

  • Visit Majolica hand-painting studio and museum at Deruta

  • Aperitivo and wood-fired pizza supper including beverages 

  • Tour local dairy - including cheese tasting and lunch

  • Visit Todi and small Medieval theatre at Monte Castello di Vibio

  • Traditional dinner at local restaurant - including beverages

  • ½ Day rest after 'Colazione' with fresh pastries at local Bar

  • Afternoon cooking lesson - hand made pasta, focaccia, etc, 

  • 'Cena fatta in Casa' including food prepared in lesson

  • Visit medieval hand-weaving Linen mill and museum

  • Tour of Perugina chocolate factory incl. tasting room

  • Umbrian 'Gourmet' dinner Including selected local wines

  • View Olive Oil museum and antique olive pressing mill

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting and lunch at their Enoteca

  • Afternoon rest, relaxation and feedback with supper included 

  • Early breakfast at local Pasticceria Bar before departure

  • Drop-off in luxury Minibus at Perugia Airport

  • Final farewells before leaving for home
